Jake: I want people to walk away with understanding this film is about family and finding family. Not only within the relationship of the officers, but looking at the gang members as well. They are a family amongst themselves, they will fight and die for each other. Now when I see a cop car, I don’t see the stigma of what they have represented, I see two beating hearts, and that is what it should be.
