On June 4, 2024, YRB attended the first Yorkseed Venture Summit with StartupFuel. The event was hosted by the law firm Polsinelli, in their newly renovated space on the 33rd floor in New York City.
Yorkseed is a Global Venture Capital Network connecting founders and investors, founded by Jessica Sophia Wong.
StartupFuel builds software that uses data, AI, and network to help better connect fragmented startup ecosystems, Ashley Martis is the CEO.
The event featured speakers Gabriel Yomi Dabiri and Peter Thurlow from Polsinelli, Alisha Outridge from BlackLion, Josh Futterman from Papa Bear Ventures, Seba Dominguez from Builders, Ashlea Souffrou, CMRP from SxanPro, and Sunny Midha from Principia Growth.
Topics included a wide range of topics for all stages of venture fundraising, including early-stage, pre-seed to seed, growth stage, Series B, private equity and more!

The Yorkseed Venture Summit with StartupFuel was a definite highlight out of over the 700 events that occurred during NY Tech Week!
