Walking Dead has been a New York Times best selling graphic novel and successful television show on AMC. Now following the success of the story comes a debut novel trilogy telling the back story of the comic book series’ villain The Governor. The novel tells the story of Philip Blake as he, along with two friends, attempts to make it to Atlanta during the zombie apocalypse. As the zombie apocalypse worsens around him he realizes he must do whatever it takes to save his friends and family even if it involves losing his soul in the process. The Walking Dead: Rise of the Governor will be released on October 11 in both print and as an audio book.
