Beginning at 2PM on Friday, September 2 Quiksilver will be hosting the Tony Hawk Vert Jam to kickoff their East Coast Quiksilver Pro New York tour supported by Vitamin Water. A massive halfpipe demo free to the public will be set up at Hudson River Park’s Per 54. The next day, September 3, Tony and the Birdhouse crew will skate the street park at the Quiksilver Pro New York surf festival located in Long Beach, New York. This is the first World Championship Tour surf competition ever held in New York and has a $1 million dollar prize at stake.
