Last night, Samsung Mobile US celebrated the launch of the highly anticipated Galaxy Note II, a revolutionary device which enhances productivity and creativity. Held at Skylight at Moynihan Station, the event showcased
the device features through interactive experiences and included a marketplace with areas dedicated to the Note II’s numerous features and offered opportunities for fan interaction with experts including:
Kelly Wearstler: The interior and fashion designer showed guests how to create a dream portfolio on S Note, select from pre-loaded images in Air View, and create inspiration boards.
Futura: The famed street artist provided a personal touch to the event by curating attendees contributions to a unique art piece created during the event. Each attendee used the S Pen to contribute to the art piece. Users could even handwrite keywords that would then match illustration images through the Idea Sketch feature.
Sam Ross: The master Mixologist mixed libations from the Beam Bar menu of various specialty cocktails.
Alfred Portale: Acclaimed chef and owner of Gotham Bar and Grill demonstrated how to Air View a gallery of custom cocktails and appetizers, and to use the S Beam application and S Pen to order delicious bites.
Tyler Shields: The LA-based photographer snapped photos of guests using the Samsung Galaxy Camera and activating the Best Faces feature to select the best shot. Guests also learned learn to edit photos, add notes and draw with the S Pen to add a unique touch.
A special performance by Kanye West who delighted the enthusiastic crowd with hits including “All of The Lights,” “Stronger,” “Clique,” “Through The Wire” and a surprise guest appearance by rapper 2Chainz to sing their hit “Birthday Song.”
Also in attendance were Singer/Actress Jennifer Hudson, NY Giants football star Victor Cruz, Rappers Meek Mills, French Montana, Kid Cudi, T.I. and wife Tiny, NBA Legend Walt Frazier, Actor/Rapper Donald Glover, and more.
