Now in its 10th year, the MONTCLAIR JAZZ FESTIVAL is bigger and better than ever. The all-day extravaganza curated by Artistic Director Christian McBride is all about music, fun, food, and community. This year’s headliners include BETTYE LAVETTE, CHRISTIAN MCBRIDE, JOEY DEFRANCESCO, MARK WHITFIELD, QUINCY PHILLIPS, and EDDIE PALMIERI.
Plus, MIKE LEE AND A SONG FOR ALL OF US and the JAZZ HOUSE COLLECTIVE will celebrate the centennial of Art Blakey with a tribute set themed “Free for All.” Not to be missed are the regional favorites and performances on the main stage by more than 150 JAZZ HOUSE KiDS emerging musicians.
The festival also includes a 2nd marquee stage in the Family Jazz Discovery Zone, a beer garden, parking shuttle, bike valet, and food and craft concessions.
The MONTCLAIR JAZZ FESTIVAL is a one-of-a-kind event where world-class jazz musicians perform alongside jazz stars of tomorrow – the students of JAZZ HOUSE KiDS.
