ABOUT PEL
PEL is a visual artist and fashion designer whose work has been shown at Art Basel in partnership with the Museum of Contemporary African Diasporan Arts (MoCADA) and featured on United States Navy fighter jets now immortalized by the Franklin Mint. Most recently, he was commissioned to paint a Toyota MR2 turned art installation and a showpiece for rapper Travis Scott’s “Hood Toyota” pop-up in New York City. He is also the designer behind several menswear and streetwear brands such as Uniqlo, Akoo, 10.Deep, Starter Black Label, Marc Ecko, Reebok and Joseph Abboud among others.
For many years, brands have been inspired by PEL’s pop culture Instagram account of illustrations and doodles. His portfolio includes a limited edition Fila sneaker adorned with his doodles, a monthly political illustration in Playboy Magazine. Celebrating his craft, Copic, one of the highest quality markers in the world created a “Doodle Pack” of coloring pens. PEL is also reimagining three notable streetwear brands that will debut with capsules in the Fall.
About BINK!
BINK! has spent the last two decades building hip-hop’s most decorated and unheralded production catalogue.
His R&B roots allowed him to compose lush, robust sonics for all artist types and needs — from the wildest pop stars (Missy Elliott) to the gentlest songbirds (Tamia); whether a hit for Kurupt (“Girls All Pause”) or Mr. Cheeks (“Lights Camera Action”), or an epic for Drake (“Jodeci Freestyle” Featuring J. Cole) or Kanye West (“Devil in a New Dress”), Bink supplied.
To date, he remains one of hip-hops most wanted beat architects with his latest offerings on Rick Ross’ ‘Rather You Than Me’ (“Santorini Greece”, “Game Ain’t on Based Sympathy”, “Scientology”).
