PANORAMA Announces 2017 Set Times & Collaboration w/ @PanoramaNYC @rochambeau

With summer in full swing, Panorama returns next week to New York City’s Randall’s Island Park for its second installment this summer to bring the best of music, technology and fashion to its attendees. The festival has revealed set times for the weekend, along with the highly anticipated food line-up, which brings a uniquely diverse selection of locally-sourced eats from the best restaurants across NYC to the festival grounds throughout the weekend. Fans can get excited for what’s to come at this year’s festival with a new trailer, which can be viewed here.  Maps of the festival venue and getting to the festival site can be found here.

The festival has also announced a collaboration with award-winning fashion brand Rochambeau for a limited edition, custom designed t-shirt that will be available for attendees to purchase at the festival. The partnership comes as a natural result of both Panorama and Rochambeau being born in New York City and wholly ascribing to the celebration of all artists, and the intersection of music, technology and fashion. Rochambeau is a New York City menswear label founded in 2011 by Laurence Chandler and Joshua Cooper. Drawing inspiration from their city, skate culture and the contemporary art world, Chandler and Cooper collaborate with renowned artists to produce each seasonal collection. A willingness to take risks has led to high regards in the industry; in 2016 it was a finalist in the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund while simultaneously taking home the US Woolmark Prize.  As of fall 2017, Rochambeau is available in some of the most exclusive retail doors in the world, including Just One Eye, 424, Liberty, Boon the Shop the Webster and SSENSE.  The limited edition, custom designed t-shirt can be viewed below:

THE LAB, powered by HP, will also return to the festival for its second year with an all-new collection of immersive art and dynamic technology. Hailed by Paste as “a large part of Panorama’s unique appeal” last year, THE LAB promises festivalgoers a playground of music and technology through six interactive installations and a massive 360-degree virtual-reality theater.  Attendees should expect to spend at least 30 minutes to fully experienced THE LAB.   While there may be a line to enter THE LAB during peak times, the exhibition will open at door time so fans are encouraged to arrive at the festival early.  THE LAB is curated by META – the full list of artists can be found here.

Hosted at Randall’s Island Park and located along New York City’s East River, Panorama will feature performances from Nine Inch Nails, Frank Ocean, Tame Impala, A Tribe Called Quest, alt-J, Solange, Justice, Nick Murphy, MGMT and more. The festival grounds are easily reachable by MTA bus, ferry, cab, bike and by foot via the RFK Bridge, the 103rd St. footbridge and Bronx Randall’s Island Connector.  For the full lineup and to purchase 3-day and single day GA and VIP passes, please visit Panorama.NYC

The park is sustained, developed and programmed by the Randall’s Island Park Alliance (RIPA) (www.randallsisland.org). RIPA works with the City and local communities to provide an innovative and exciting destination through a wide range of sports venues, cultural events and environmental exploration. The Alliance also works to continue the park’s illustrious history as a destination for exciting city-wide special events.
