From June 8-14, 2015 over 100,000 cultural trendsetters attended the seventh annual Northside Festival in Williamsburg and Greenpoint, Brooklyn, looking to discover what’s next in Music, Innovation and Film.
Music lovers from far and wide flocked to McCarren Park, Brooklyn Live at the Inlet (at 50 Kent Avenue), and 25+ indoor clubs to check out the most talked about bands during Northside Music.
Performances included the return of Luna from a decade-long hiatus.
Run the Jewels, took the stage at 50 Kent Ave, they surprised the audience with a special guest performance by Rap Legend Nas, which sent the audience into a frenzy.
The rock bands Against Me! and Best Coast both delivered and electrifying performances to ecstatic audiences, leaving them calling for more.
Other bands headlining at Northside music included , Sleigh Bells, The Very Best, and Heems.
Michael Cera and Alden Penner of the Unicorns performed for captive audience at the Knitting Factory during Northside. Indie rock artist Neko Case delivered her performance at 50 Kent Ave, while and 400 more artist performed during Northside Music.
