YCG Fine Art is pleased to present its Artist in Residence Project. A different contemporary artist and a virtual exhibition of their work will be featured on their website. This new platform is showcasing noteworthy art with Morgan Everhart‘s It’s Yours It’s Mine, on view till 5 December, 2018.
Morgan’s artwork was featured at this years NYFW kickoff event Fashion’s Night IN presented by Douglas Elliman and YRB Magazine.
About the Artist
Morgan Everhart received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of North Texas and her Master of Fine Arts from the LeRoy E. Hoffberger School of Painting at Maryland Institute College of Art. Recent exhibitions include Four Degrees of Abstraction, curated by Anne-Brigitte Sirois, Markel Fine Arts, New York, New York (2018), Through a glass, darkly, 440 Irving, Brooklyn, NY (2018), and Towards the Hollow at Rehoboth Art League in Delaware (2016).
Everhart’s work has been reviewed and featured in ArtForum, Saatchi Online Magazine, A Woman’s Thing Magazine, The Skinned Knee Collective, Studio Visit Magazine, and by Sheryl Saint Germain in The Small Door of Your Death.
Everhart is a contributor to @studiovisitstudiovisit, prō jekt′ : nyc, and Friend of the Artist, with whom she curated an international publication of emerging artists releasing Fall 2018.
Her first solo exhibition at a museum opens January 2019 at Longwood Center for the Visual Arts in Farmville, Virginia.
Everhart lives and works in Brooklyn, New York.
