 Baja East, a globally inspired luxury brand based in New York City and designed by Scott Studenberg and John Targon, celebrated the debut of the Baja East x Minions capsule collection showcased during the SS17 collection runway show at New York Fashion Week on September 9^th 2016.

The collection includes the brand’s signature prints, luxury fabrics and elevated silhouettes.   The party featured a “see now, buy now” component, marking the launch of the collection on Baja-East.com as well as a merchandise truck onsite, decorated with plush stuffed minions.

Rae Sremmurd performed all their hits to a packed crowd on the roof of the venue, with a surprise performance by fellow rapperD.R.A.M., followed by a DJ set by Aluna George. Teyana Taylor and fiancé Iman Shumpert posed playfully at the Minions branded selfie station while Chanel Iman and Jamie Chung snapped pictures for Instagram.

 

Supermodel Naomi Campbell congratulated designers Scott Studenberg and John Targon while taking photos to celebrate the success of the show. Other guests enjoyed a Samsung 360 Photobooth while the Minions characters made a special appearance at the party.
