Event Recap: The Get Down premiere @TheGetDown @Netflix #thegetdown

On August 11, 2016 , Netflix celebrated the premiere of The Get Down with a star-studded premiere hosted in the The Bronx, New York.

The red carpet screening was held in the Lovinger Theater at Lehman College which was then followed by a Summer Block Party highlighting the music, dance, fashion and fun showcased in the series.

Celebrity guests included executive producers Baz Luhrmann, Nas and Catherine Martin, stars Shameik Moore, Justice Smith, Herizen Guardiola, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Jaden Smith, Skylan Brooks, Tremaine Brown Jr., and Jimmy Smits, associate producer Grandmaster Flash, Zoe Kravitz, Debbie Harry, Rita Ora, Harvey Weinstein, DJ Kool Herc, Rahiem.
