Event Recap: The 32nd annual The Art Show Gala Preview @The_ADAA #TheArtShow

On Wednesday, February 26, 2020 YRB attended the annual Art Show Gala Preview which took  place at New York’s Park Avenue Armory.

The annual event brings together the international art world and New York City philanthropists in support of the vital services Henry Street Settlement provides New Yorkers each year.

This years fair features over 40 intimately scaled solo presentations and 19 exhibitions dedicated to female artists—an unprecedented number for the fair—as well as joint, thematic, and dual presentations that offer new perspectives on influential artists and opportunities for in-depth exploration of up-and-coming and under recognized contributions to art history.

The fair features 72 presentations drawn from the membership and selected through a curatorial submission process. Each year The Art Show highlights a diverse mix of artists, genres, periods, and geographies, inviting visitors to experience premier works from established names as well as from those artists new to the market. It provides an intimate visitor experience intimate with a
navigable scale encouraging visitors to look closely at the art on view in an unrushed atmosphere

Sunday, March 1, 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
