Event Recap: Project Canvas Holds Star-Studded Shoe Auction

Project Canvas celebrated its official launch last Friday with a shoe auction gala featuring footwear customized by celebrities and world-renowned artists. The star-studded event featured the designs of Mariah Carey with Crystal Icing, Mr. Brainwash, Swizz Beatz, and Ellen DeGeneres, among others. Some exclusive designs were auctioned off to attendees only, including the Audemars Pieguet for Project Canvas shoe and luxury Diver watch going to Nick Cannon for $21,000.

The proceeds of the auction will go to Urban Arts Partnership, a non-profit organization that aids underprivileged public schools through art programs.
