FANCY.com, the destination for consumers to discover and buy amazing goods curated by a global community, just closed the doors to ‘a lot of stuff in a store,’ a pop-up shop retail experience with famed DJ/Producer deadmau5.
Built around deadmua5’s sold out run of shows at Hammerstein Ballroom, the retail space featured many cool and unique specialty items, such as limited edition deadmau5 x Ron English vinyl toys, an installation of deadmau5’s personal collection of mau5heads and brand new merchandise.
More than just ‘lots of stuff in a store,’ the retail experience will reflected the light, sound and energy that are synonymous with deadmau5’s shows. Kef Speakers powered the auditory experience – playing deadmau5’s W:/2016ALBUM/ studio album throughout the space on their Hi-Fidelity, studio quality Blade Speakers.
Nanoleaf’s modular lighting panels created a fun photo wall, shaped like the iconic deadmau5 logo, while fans streamed deadmau5 music catalogue on Wearhaus’ new social, connected and wireless headphones.
The event culminated with renowned artist, Ron English painting a custom mau5head that is to be auctioned off online for charity to support Women In Need (WIN), which provides safe housing, critical services, and ground-breaking programs to help homeless women and their children in NYC.
