Last night Converse debuted DEFCON and Pro Leather 2K11 performance shoes at a launch event held at Cedar Lake Studios. Basketball enthusiast and author Bobbito Garcia gave media a brief history of the Converse brand while Jeff Mokos and Damion Silver introduced the shoes. Also present at the event were the athletes of Team Converse Chris ‘Birdman’ Andersen of the Denver Nuggets, Lou Williams of the Philadelphia 76ers and Kyle Korver of the Chicago Bulls. DJ Bobbito Garcia a.k.a. Cool Bob Love kicked of the party followed by a set by DJ Reach. A few of the celebrities in attendance were Maximillan Tapper, Mey Bun, Drew Vision, Coltrane Curtis, Corey ‘Homicide’ Williams and Nick Yates.
