Event Recap: American Express Music Presents Kendrick Lamar Live in Brooklyn @kendricklamar @alishaheed @americanexpress #AmexAccess

On Friday December 16, 2016,  YRB attended the Amex Music x Kendrick Lamar show at Music Hall of Williamsburg in Brooklyn, New York.

The Card Member only show featured an energetic DJ set by A Tribe Called Quest’s Ali Shaheed Muhammad, who opened the night, followed by a visually stimulating show by Kendrick Lamar.

Lamar played tracks from his Grammy Award winning album, “To Pimp a Butterfly,” including songs such as “These Walls” as well as other tracks from “Untitled Unmastered” such as “Levitate.”

In addition, Kendrick performed “ Money Trees”, “Mercy MAAD City”, “King Kunta” and “Alright” for the fans all around the world via Facebook Live which you can still see on both his and American Express’ facebook pages.

VIP guests included Oliva Wilde & Jason Sudeikis, Steven Baldwin and his daughter Hailey Baldwin, Santigold and Wyatt Cenac.
