On February 6, 2023, YRB attended the Elie Balleh NYFW runway show.The event was held at The Sanctuary on Roosevelt Island in New York City.
Glamour, the florals , colors and happiness of the Spring season were the inspiration of his new collection.
This season the designer has partnered with Aveyron Academy, that focuses on autistic students ages twelve and up learning to partake in day-to-day chores so they can live independently.
Principal Dr. Yvrose Pierre and her facility is thrilled to participate in the movement.
The show featured models on the autism spectrum, breaking down barriers and promoting inclusivity in the fashion industry.
“I want to give back to the community; we as adults must lead by example and show these students that good still exists in these difficult times.”
In conclusion, the event was it was a truly unique and empowering experience, showcasing the beauty and strength of individuals on the autism spectrum. It was a night of hope and inspiration, and a powerful reminder that everyone deserves a chance to shine, regardless of their background or abilities.
