J Star isn’t new to the scene with hits like “Play N Burn” ft. Trae Tha Truth and “Clap, Clap, Clap” ft. Vado, as well as his worldwide Utube Girl contest for which he travelled across the country with models Suelyn, Avonte Wright, Rosa Acosta and Shakur to crown Masika Kalysa the official UTube Girl. This year he also took over the Core DJ Retreat as the hottest breakout artist in site. J Star then pulled Rosa Acosta and mixtape maverick DJ Whoo Kid to host his new mixtape “The Place Is My Home: What Did You Expect?,” which released yesterday along with a music video for his latest music video for “GoodMorning” ft. J. Diggz.
