Boris Bernard b. 1980, a first American born child of two afro-american enlisted soldiers. Boris is a NYC street artist and self-taught graphic designer, who developed narcolepsy in 1988 and is creatively employed as an artist because of his medical condition to provide for himself.
It is a means of his survival as well as his expression to make and sell artworks. Boris Bernard has been active in the streets of NYC since 2013. Boris has produced guerrilla campaigns for Alicia Keys, Swizz Beats, and Dimepiece LA.
Often working with wheat-paste and hand embellished screenprints. Drawing inspiration from pop culture, rap and graffiti, his collages express themes and narratives that both appear timeless and current.
