ASCAP Rhythm & Soul Presents the 3rd Annual Women Behind The Music Series

On November 9 the ASCAP Rhythm & Soul team brought the 3rd Annual Women Behind The Music Series to Tenjune in New York City.  The series has been designed to encourage and recognize women in the music community, highlighting female songwriters and artists as well as women working in all facets of the business including managers, attorneys, label executives and music publishers.

In New York the women honored were Grammy Award-wingin singer/songwriter Monica, SVP of Marketing, Universal/Motown music industry executive Phillana Williams and music industry powerbroker, manager and executive Mona Scott-Young.

The series will also be heading out West making stops on LA and Atlanta.
