Artistix Fashion presented their ski-inspired FW 2020 collection alongside Klarna’s Style360.
The collection, which was presented at Metropolitan West, included 20 looks that captured the essence of an exciting winter adventure.
Artistix, founded by artist and visionary Greg Polisseni, has participated in New York Fashion Week for nine consecutive seasons, becoming a staple in the New York City fashion scene.
Known for their hand-painted prints and lively fashion week events, Artistix did not disappoint on either end for the debut of their F/W 2020 collection.
“I’m so proud of the collection that we premiered for F/W 2020,” said Polisseni.
“The pieces incorporate the print of my painting Stars & Stripes which makes this collection that much more important to me. Stars & Stripes was created as a symbol of unity which is portrayed through the styles.
I want to especially thank Klarna and Style360 for partnering with us for this show, we couldn’t have asked for a more prepared team!”
This collection, titled Adventure, took inspiration from winter sports and from Polisseni’s well-known painting Stars and Stripes.
The painting, which was created by Polisseni in 2013, has hung in the Obama White House, VA Hospitals and multiple veterans dedicated institutions across the country. It was incorporated in the Artistix signature camo pattern which was made in shades of blue and tied into the collections blue and red color stories. With the help of Klarna, the brand continued to tie in the aesthetic of art, soul, and rock & roll while making the collection fresh and new.
“We’re like a band and the audience are our fans. We’re all about the music, art, and fashion” said Andy Hilfiger after the presentation. “We brought the Artistix lifestyle to everyone that came to the presentation and now they can bring the vibe with them to the ski slopes.”
The show was produced by Klarna and Style360 while other sponsors included Rice Force, Tarnish-Me-Not, and Evian. Jewelry was provided by Luxe Jewelers. Hair was led by stylist, Warren Tricomi while makeup was led by James Vincent.
Celebrities in attendance included Maino, Ron Devoe, Grand Puba, Amara La Negra, Nia Kay, Lala Milan and more.
