On February 10th, ARTISTIX presented their latest collection titled, Bellezza at the Rolls-Royce of Manhattan showroom.
The collection is based off of Greg Polisseni’s original abstract painting of the same name and was comprised of 20 looks, 11 women and 9 men.
“Bellezza means beauty, to me, it represents the beauty of life,”
said owner and creator of ARTISTIX, Greg Polisseni.
“ARTISTIX is a lifestyle and that’s what we like to portray during New York Fashion Week.”
Some of the collection’s key pieces include the unique camouflage print puffer jackets which incorporate the Bellezza painting. The massive crowd included notable faces such as, Tommy Hilfiger, Dee Hilfiger, Raekwon of the Wu Tang Clan, rapper AZ, Marky Ramone of the Ramones, and Arrow Benjamin. Also included in the show was a model appearance by actor and Instagram sensation Ray Diaz, who wore a wool plaid flannel and red parachute inspired pants.
As a whole, the collection resembled 90’s streetwear style with a 70’s edge by including detailed knits, parachute pants, and nylon puffer jackets.
The show was produced by Sanbar Performance and was sponsored by Zico Coconut Water, Illy Coffee, Kiki Vodka, and Sheawa Inc. The show was casted by Maurilio Carnino at MTC Casting, while the event was photographed by Johnny Nunez of Getty Images.
