While the success of “Moves Like Jagger” could likely feed the members of Maroon 5 for a few lifetimes, the pop-rockers revealed their next creative step to Rolling Stone today. Their fourth studio album, Overexposed, is set to hit stores on June 26th.
The album features a healthy amount of co-writing with other artists, which marks relatively new territory for the quintet that penned hits like “She Will Be Loved” and “This Love.” The Max Martin-produced record will feature a cameo by Wiz Khalifa, among others.
“At this point in our career I think it was a good thing to completely mix up our process,” guitarist James Valentine told Rolling Stone. “This is our most ‘pop’ record ever and we weren’t shy about really going for it.”
